Washing machine classifications
In order to efficiently categorise washing machines that we cover, we have classified appliances into 3 main categories that you may hear use refer to. This enables us to clearly prepare for parts and costings that are required to protect your washing machine.

During phone calls and when conducting repairs, Appliance Sure may refer to washing machines being within a category. This is an Appliance Sure Ltd. classification and used internally for assessment of part cost & accessibility. The classification does not affect the delivery of a cover plan, a consumer's rights or the terms and conditions of a cover plan.
Category A
Any washing machine that is under 12 months old.
Category B
Washing machine that over 12 months old manufactured by the following:
- Hoover
- Bosch
- Beko
- Hotpoint
- Samsung
- Electrolux
- Indesit
- Zanussi
Category C
Washing machine that over 12 months old manufactured by the following:
- LG
- Candy
- AEG
- Whirlpool
- Miele
- Dyson
- Siemens
- Panasonic
- Neff
- Brandt
- Smeg
- Baumatic
- Sharp
- Stoves
- Kenwood
- Liebherr
- Any other manufacturer not listed
